Asperger Syndrome and High Functioning Autism Association (AHA) Inc.
for Agencies, Professionals, and Service Providers
Advertising in Asperger Syndrome and High Functioning Autism Association's On The Spectrum brings your information to our membership, the individuals and families living with ASDs and their providers. Our publications go to over 2500 families and agencies throughout the tri-state area and throughout the country. The AHA eNews, where you will also be mentioned and thanked, goes to over 3500 addresses, locally, nationally and internationally.
Moreover, your advertising money supports our organization, our efforts to increase awareness of ASD to the public and the media, and all the programs that we provide: our support groups, our information-packed website, our telephone and email referral and information service, and our twice-yearly conferences. Your support also makes available scholarships to students interested in our field, to individuals determined to become independent adults, and to their families.
AHA is a not-for-profit 501 (c)(3) organization
Asperger Syndrome and High Functioning Autism Association (AHA Association) serves individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs), their families, and the professionals who work alongside them, providing crucial resources and support, throughout their lifetime, as they face challenges, build on their strengths and fulfill their potential. Founded in 1988 and based on Long Island, New York, with a satellite office in NYC, AHA is directed by a dedicated volunteer executive board and an expert professional advisory board. AHA’s services reach nearly ten thousand people annually through one-to-one phone and e-support, more than a dozen monthly support meetings, a highly informative twice-monthly AHA eNewsletter, a bi-annual print publication (On The Spectrum), bi-annual education conferences, family recreation events, and our annual fundraiser ROCK ‘N’ BOWL for Autism. By maintaining efficient administrative practices, more than 80%of every dollar donated to AHA goes directly to providing and expanding its services.
